Wasps Excited To Have The Record Crowd Ever

The Wasps Rugby Club has reported that they are expecting a crowd of around 27000 spectators in the first game they play in home grounds on Sunday in Coventry. The Premiership team has finally announced that they are moving to the Ricoh Arena from High Wycombe in October.

The attendance of the people wanting to see the match is going to be a record according to the Wasps. Even though the move was controversial, many of the High Wycombe-based fans have commented that they understand the reason behind the move.

Worcester Warriors Defeat Nottingham Rugby 55-16

In a one sided match, Worcester Warriors defeated Nottingham Rugby this Saturday. Their final score stood at 55-16.
In spite of Worcester running in nine times, Nottingham was able to score first six minutes into the game.
Maisey converted but he failed to score in a penalty that happened a few minutes after. It could have given them a lead of ten points. Seven minutes after that, Mike Williams of the Worcester team got injured and had to be taken off the field in a stretcher.

London Wasps signs Jackson from Glasgow Warriors

Scotland international fly half Ruaridh Jackson is all set to swap the Pro 12 for the Aviva Premiership for the new season of domestic rugby with his deal with the Rugby Football Union club the London Wasps confirmed.

HANKS LEAVES WASPS

Wasps director of rugby Tony Hanks has left the club after 21 months in charge by mutual consent.

The Londoners have won only one of their last six games and are currently sixth in the Premiership.

New Zealander Hanks said: “I am naturally disappointed to be leaving the club, and this has been a really tough decision to come to.”

Head coach Shaun Edwards will take charge of the squad for this weekend’s game against Leicester.

Wasps say they will begin searching for a permanent replacement immediately.
