Leicester Tigers look to consolidate with their new signings

Come the new season and Leicester Tigers are determined to reproduce their winning performance in the 2012-13 seasons whereby they won the Aviva Premiership title. Over the years they have been one of the most successful clubs in the premiership with a record nine consecutive appearances in the final from 2005 to 2013. Keeping in mind the rich success of the previous years the officials have gone forward to sign some new and exciting players for their upcoming campaign. Richard Cockerill, Director of Rugby in Leicester has recently released a declaration of signing five new players for the club. Due to the increasing excitement among the fans who love to watch young English talents on their side, Freddie Burns, the Gloucester star, has been picked up by the coaching and management staffs. On the other hand, Christian Loamanu shall be strengthening the defense. He is also joined by hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini and flanker Robert Barbieri. Castres fly half Seremaia Bai shall be adding to the experience of the team at 35 years of age.
The greatest number of eyebrows has been raised about the signing of Freddie Burns who has had a rough patch recently due to on and off field reasons but there is no denial of the fact that he is one of the best talents in contemporary England. Leicester Tigers are hopeful that Burns shall be able to adjust to the new club and the alien conditions. Along with Owen Williams he shall be a force to reckon with and it will also help in maintaining a healthy competition for a spot in the team. The fans are pinning their hopes on the team and the lineup looks complete with the addition of the new players. Contract details of the players remain undisclosed till date but they have joined practice sessions.
