Les Kiss After Ulster Said,” I Expect Better”

It could have been a friendly pre-season; however, for Director of Rugby for Ulster, Les Kiss was still left hurt by the home defeat of last night to Wasps.

Two weeks are over from the first game of the side of the Pro14 campaign, opposite the Cheetahs. The Wasps were the second best at the Kingspan Stadium, by losing match with the score 26-15.

“Definitely, there is a disappointment,” said an Australian player who is entering his third season now at the province.

“When it comes to playing at home, any team never likes to lose in any conditions, no matter what is at stake. There are some of the game components present where the boys would anticipate a lot better about themselves. In the pre-season, we have been trying to work on that and on a lot of other things, and this certainly includes getting some new patterns, new coaches, however, as of now, I don’t believe we have got into any flow.

He further added that, “The team was behind the eight ball a little bit too often. It could be possible that, they got the ball in a bit easier way than we got it. Moreover, to start that game’s second half, there was 20 minutes, and this helped them to dominate field position and because of that only they put our team under real pressure.“

“With the friendly results, you can go down a rabbit hole in both ways, however, it is not at all nice or good to lose match at home, when there is so much of moral support is present.

“I expect from the team as well as for myself, to deliver a better performance on the field with better coordination within the team,” he further added this.
