Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club the London Wasps have confirmed the signing of Josh Bassett, the 21 year old winger from the Rugby Football Union Championship side the Bedford Blues ahead of the new season and the player will join up with the London side once The Wasps start their pre-season training ahead of the 2013-14 season. Dai Young, the Director of Rugby of the side is looking to strengthen the side ahead of the new season and has already made a string of signings, most of which are young players.

HAYES SUSPECTED OF HACKING

Steve Hayes, the owner of the Aviva Premiership side London Wasps has been named as a suspect after being arrested by the Scotland Yard in February in a probe into a computer hacking scam, according to reports received.

The 50 year old is currently on bail after investigations into the illegal activities at News International first came to the public knowledge when the Scotland Yard came took up the case through Operation Tuleta, which is an offshoot of the Weeting Investigation team of the force.
