WASPS TAKE A BEATING

London Wasps took a huge blow in the Aviva Premiership after losing to their rivals at Kingsholm.

Gloucester was in great shape and form as they took on their rivals London Wasp. They played some exceptional rugby to thrash the Wasps heavily in the much awaited fixture.

This embarrassing loss at the hands of their rivals will come as a big shock to the London Wasps. The loss for the London Wasps saw them drop down to the ninth spot in the league table while Gloucester climbed up to the fifth point.

Gloucester made a strong start to the match as they sent Luke Narraway over for the very first try only after the first five minutes. Jonny May then followed suit in the fourteenth minute itself. They dominated the match right from the start and though the London Wasps were in contention, it was Gloucester that always looked more threatening. The Wasps did make a good comeback before the first half finished, but it just was not enough as it was still Gloucester that led the score board nineteen to ten at the break.

Disappointingly for the London Wasps, the second half was completely dominated by Gloucester as they tore their rivals apart by adding another twenty points. After the half time, Freddie Burns kicked a great penalty and then Trinder beat Simpson to touch down thus extending their lead over the rivals to a great seventeen points.

The Wasps were morally beaten right from the start of the second half as they knew that a great comeback just was not in the cards.

The Wasps looked beaten as they knew that a comeback from this point was impossible even though there were thirty minutes still left to play.

Thus having broken down to the rivals, Wasps looked helplessly out of sorts during the remainder of the match. This leaves the fans of Wasps disappointed and asking for more.
